As the owner of Whimsy B. Designs~Lovely Paperie, Ashleigh Malangone, owner of Ashleigh Malangone|NY and Tricia Potenza, owner of Patricia Marie Photography, were beginning the journey of our new business ventures, we thought what better way to share the excitement with our closest family and friends than to have a launch party! "Cocktails and Cashmere" was the ever so charming name of the event that us three entrepreneurial ladies would host.
It was a surprisingly warm and sunny fall day in October that soon became chilly at sundown when the party began. Ashleigh's quaint shabby chic cottage was the perfect setting for our parties location. We couldn't have asked for a better night, painting the perfect fall scenery. The ambiance was set as the room was filled with glowing votive candles, the fire roaring and the paper lanterns hanging from the deck side.
Inside the cottage displayed our work, each shown with our own unique and individual styles. The double french doors stayed open so our guests could view our pieces as they pleased while snagging some delicious desserts from the "sweet treats" table and topped off with homemade sangria.
The party was a wonderful success, with great company. We are so grateful to have such amazing and supportive family and friends to continuously challenge us and encourage us to strive for our life's passions.
We are looking forward to hosting more events in the Spring!
